FIGURED LANDSCAPES
Continuing through the concepts of the series "Eclectic Dreams" "The figure is still dominant in the composition and even more so now. The figure is more pronounced than ever. A number of the canvas are of a square format leading the ability of the viewer to easily to focus on the figure. The paint in this series is applied with zest and impasto, including the found objects such as twine and wooden splints. The color pallete ranges from a monotone in the background to a thick vibrant foreground figure, spotted with dabs of acrylic. Metallic paint is use as with the other series, giving it a shimmering light akin to the Raphaelite painters found in the 1400's.
