FUSION MONOLITHS

“FUSION MONOLITHS" is my most recent body of work evolved from a series of acrylic paintings on canvas and panel. This body of work is ongoing it is fabrication and fascination with tall structures, man made and natural lead me to these towers of modern landscape. There is still the movement of the quasi abstract structures. The color palette is often saturated with layers of media built up. The environment might include a hint of a human figure.

Ramparts (Emily Carr Where art Thou)

that symbolizes a defensive wall that we keep around us. “ Rampart’s “ is inspired by the Fauvisim movement that depicts brilliant colors in the structure above a dark valley with flashing lights. Emily Carr inspired me with a sense of indigenous culture in this painting.
