FUSION MONOLITHS
“FUSION MONOLITHS" is my most recent body of work evolved from a series of acrylic paintings on canvas and panel. This body of work is ongoing it is fabrication and fascination with tall structures, man made and natural lead me to these towers of modern landscape. There is still the movement of the quasi abstract structures. The color palette is often saturated with layers of media built up. This environment might include a hint of a human figure.

This painting is the latest to my series Fusion Monoliths.
I have taken images and paintings that I have done in the past an convolutes eighty percent of all recognizable representing images. As our times suggest we are in constant motion, and chaos is a big factor . The color pallette remains bright . Brushstrokes are limited after the painting is started. Clear polymer and acrylics are applied on top.

Looking Beyond River North

This Painting is the second to the last I have completed recently. A bright blue sky with incisions made in the canvas with oozing jelly coming through the canvas. The shape of the suggested landscape is of the city Chicago. Distorted is it as all my most recent paintings are. I was completing the sky are as the current Artemis NASA spacecraft was descending back to earth. Litmus paint is cratered in each projectile (capsule). The form is of a landscape (Horizontal) and when the painting is shown vertically , a face with an open mouth appears.
